Pro Fitness XT1000 Cross Trainer

Is A Informative Pro Fitness XT1000 Cross Trainer A Hit With Novices?

Pro Fitness XT1000 Cross TrainerThe Pro Fitness XT1000 Cross Trainer has the look of a machine that is designed for novice users – but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

There is nothing too flashy in the specification or general design, and this appeals to those that want something easy to use.

But, there are also hopes that this will offer a good enough workout at the same time. So, does this machine do enough?

The Pros and Cons of this Pro Fitness XT1000 Cross Trainer.

Pros:

  •  An accessible design for first-times users
  •  Pretty easy to set up and use every day
  •  The console has more on the data stream than expected

Cons:

  •  There are lots more options on the XT2000
  •  The readings might not be the most accurate

The Pro Fitness XT1000 Cross Trainer seems to tick all the right boxes for an entry-level machine.

There is a nice list of features for those just starting out. There are 8 levels of tension control via a magnetic resistance system and a 4kg flywheel.

There is also a 13-inch stride length with good-sized footplates so you should be able to get in a good rhythm.

The machine looks more stable and substantial than some other elliptical trainers at this price and it is surprising to see lots of positive comments about the easy installation process.

Another selling point is the design and information offered on the 5-inch LCD display. You can get the usual data on speed, distance, and the amount of time elapsed.

However, you also get some more usual aspects, such as the perpetual calendar and the temperature reading. There is also the added benefit of a pulse reading from the sensors in the handgrip. However, you shouldn’t rely on this feature too much.

Just be aware that you can get a lot more if you go for the model up from the Pro Fitness XT1000 Elliptical Trainer.

One thing to be aware of here is that this is a basic model in a wider range. The next model up, which is the XT2000, goes a lot further in intensity with double the resistance.

There are also 12 programmes for targetting fitness and weight loss. With the XT1000, there are also some questions about the accuracy of the readings, particularly with the pulse reading. However, most users don’t seem to notice or mind too much.

Is this Pro Fitness Magnetic Resistance Elliptical still a recommendable choice or should you go for the XT2000?

The good news here is that you have options and both of these bikes provide a great workout for their intended market. If this version seems too limited, and you prefer the idea of wider programming, pay more for the XT2000.

But, if you are new to this sort of exercise and happy to stick with the basics, for now, you should have no problem with this lower-end model. The features provided by the Pro Fitness cross trainer should be just enough to help you build confidence.
