Neezee Elliptical Cross Trainer

Is The Neezee Elliptical Cross Trainer Ideal For Intermediate Users?

Neezee Elliptical Cross TraineThe Neezee Elliptical Cross Trainer looks like a step up from some budget models without an intimidating specification.

The design is appealing with the more space-saving shape and position of the flywheel.

It also seems to be sturdy and accessible without too many settings or elements to learn. So, is this a good intermediate option or could it do more to help?

The Pros and Cons of this Neezee 2-in-1 Elliptical Cross Trainer

Pros:

  •  The large flywheel is tucked into the body to save space
  •  There is a bidirectional motion to help users get a better workout
  •  The console has multiple screens for easy viewing of different streams
  •  The footplates and general build of the machine seem secure for added peace of mind
  •  Most users are able to get the regular workouts they need and some noticeable results

Cons:

  •  Partial assembly required with instructions via a YouTube video, rather than written guidance.
  •  No indication in the specification as to the number of resistance settings available
  •  No programming or any other special features

The Neezee Elliptical Trainer offers a great workout with ease and some nice user-friendly elements.

The main benefit here seems to be the quality of the workout from what is a more accessible option than some high-end machines.

The resistance and the motion from the footplates do help users build tone in their legs and strengthen muscles without too much effort or risk of injury.

Those footplates are large and secure with an anti-slip surface, but also suitable for users of different sizes. The bidirectional motion of the plates and the smooth 5kg flywheel also make a difference.

From there, you can take advantage of the data from the console. The information provided is fairly standard, with readings for distance and time elapsed.

There is also a pulse sensor in the handlebars to provide data on your heart rate. What makes this better than some other machines is that console is split into separate screens for simultaneous display. This is better than having to cycle through them to find what you need.

Overall, users seem to find that this machine is easy to use – from getting on board and starting the workout to getting the readings at the end. It also seems to be pretty comfortable with the adjustable elements and the padding on the seat.

The main problem is that this Neezee Elliptical is lacking in detail and options.

While there are plenty of users happy with the resistance offered by this machine, and the impact on their fitness levels, there is a small issue.

There is no indication of the specification or the manual dial on the different levels. Whatever the highest is seems fine for most novice and intermediate users.

But, it might not have as wide a range as you need. On a related note, there is no special programming or any sort of clever extra feature for training sessions.

It is up to users to figure out their duration and intensity. This simplicity might not suit those looking for guidance in a specific direction, such as heart rate or weight loss modes.

Otherwise, there are few complaints about this machine and its operation. The only other thing to keep in mind here is that partial assembly is required on this machine and that the instructions are only available via a YouTube video.

This is fine for those that are visual learners, but not so much for those more comfortable with written manuals.

Is this Neezee Bidirectional Cross Trainer right for your home set-up?

In the end, this does seem like a great option for intermediate users because of the balance between the design, intensity, and features offered.

The lack of programming isn’t a massive issue because there is enough resistance and you get those multiple data streams to work with.

It might not be as tough as more professional models, but it is a well-made machine with great components and a better design than some budget models.

A lot of buyers that want something better than their old basic machine, but not too complex, should do fine here. So, the Neezee cross trainer could still prove to be a rewarding choice.
