JTX Strider-X7 Cross Trainer Review

Is The JTX Strider X7 Cross Trainer Really So User-friendly And Simple?

JTX Strider-X7 Cross TrainerThe JTX Strider X7 Home Cross Trainer is a fairly simple, at-home piece of gym equipment that is sure to attract users with its range of bonus features rather than its potential for a tough workout.

It does have a 12.5kg flywheel for multiple resistance levels and a 16” stride length.

It also boasts a large colour console with touchscreen functions, a quick start button, non-slip adjustable pedals, wheels for easy transportation and an ergonomic footplate designed to look after your joints.

It appears that the JTX fitness product is designed to be very user friendly, but is this really the case?

What benefits have been highlighted by buyers of this JTX Strider X7 Magnetic Cross Trainer?

There is a clear sense from these user reviews that this elliptical trainer ticks boxes right across the board and gives the full experience that buyers want, from setting it up to programming it, enjoying the workout, reading the data and seeing permanent results such as weight loss.

To start with, buyers say that the assembly is fairly straightforward and, once the JTX Strider-X7 Cross Trainer is up and running, it is a stable piece of equipment, partly due to the use of adjustable pads for uneven floors. JTX Strider-X7 Home Cross Trainer

Then they can choose the program they desire out of the 21 options – choices focusing on different aspects such as hills, intervals and fat burning.

They can also enjoy a low impact session while monitoring their heart rate with the included strap and watching data on their speed, time, distance and calories lost.

If these benefits are seen across the board, does this JTX X7 elliptical trainer have any downsides?

There are a few aspects to this JTX cross trainer machine where users are not quite so quick to dish out the praise and one of the more important ones regards the size.

JTX talks about the “compact but robust and heavy duty design” and there is a lot of praise from larger users for the high maximum weight capacity.

However, not everyone would agree with the word “compact” and there are warnings about finding enough space for it.

Other criticisms are that even though there are 16 levels of resistance, some feel that there isn’t enough of a difference between the lowest and highest and that there appear to be a few too many manufacturing flaws, with a few buyers mentioning wobbles, noises and ill-fitting washers.

Summary: does this lack of any substantial flaws mean that the JTX Strider X7 is highly recommendable?

What is interesting is that buyers are not giving particularly emotive responses to this product on either side of the fence; the minor problems were either fixed or are of little consequence and the benefits are helpful but seemingly nothing all that special.

Having said this, just because it is a middle-of-the-road, “decent machine does not mean it is not recommendable because, for many, it will be just right in its simplicity and the fact that all these simple functions work.

JTX elliptical trainer can’t offer anything too challenging or high-tech but it can give buyers an all-round experience with a secure workout via beneficial programs and helpful data.
